Mehrangarh Fort Jodhpur – Palace Cliff Facade Relief

High-precision physical scale model capturing the delicate Jharokha balconies of Mehrangarh Fort.

Physical architectural wall section showing delicate carved Jharokha balconies and screen patterns.

This architectural relief model provides a high-detail study of one of the most iconic cliff-edge facade walls within Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh Fort complex. Generated from photogrammetric scan data and fabricated using Hyperform via additive manufacturing, the physical piece captures the seamless transition from massive, impenetrable base bastions to the delicate, multi-story palace architecture perched atop the cliff. Hand-painted with a soft monochrome wash, subtle shading was applied to the recessed arched openings, projecting balconies, and ornamental finials, accentuating the verticality, visual depth, and rich spatial geometry of the historic fortification.
